I'm Nelli 👋
A passionate Filipino language teacher with a love for sharing the richness of our language and culture. My teaching journey began in 2017 when I unexpectedly found myself tutoring Filipino due to demand. To my surprise, people were eager to learn, and what started as a side role has now become something I truly enjoy. Teaching Filipino has allowed me to connect with students from all over the world, and even make new friends along the way!
I offer self-paced Filipino courses designed with simplicity and practicality in mind. I believe that learning a language should be fun and immediately useful, so my approach introduces easy concepts as building blocks. From there, we build on those basics through practice, with a mix of cultural insights to keep learning engaging and relevant.
This isn’t your typical grammar-heavy course. I’ve designed it so that you learn practical phrases and words you can use from day one! Whether you’re learning for travel, work, or personal growth, I’m excited to help you on your language journey!
